INDEPENDENCE – Buchanan County Health Center (BCHC) is pleased to welcome Crystal Kaufman as Nutrition Services Director.

Crystal came to BCHC in early 2023 from the Tama area, where she served as the Food Service Director for the Tama County Jail. Crystal is responsible for the overall operations of the Nutrition Services Department. New to the Buchanan County area, outside of work Crystal enjoys deer hunting and spending time with her family and friends.
