Flagler Beach has a new ocean-side smoothie and juice bar to enjoy: Beachfront Nutrition.

Raymond Hall opened the smoothie spot alongside his wife Amelie on Sept. 1. Located at 705 N. Oceanshore Boulevard in Unit A, the shop sells protein shakes, smoothie bowls, doughnuts and more. 

Hall said he is a Palm Coast resident who has lived here for two years. He said he and his wife began to teach work out sessions in February on the beach and, one day, noticed the unit directly across the beach was empty.

“We were like, that could be a good opportunity to open a smoothie shop right across to serve people after their workout,” he said. “It was a no brainer.”

The protein shakes Beachfront serves can actually be a meal-replacement, he said — they are low in sugar and high in protein but “taste like ice cream.”

Business has been really good, he said, and he’s excited for the peak season next summer.

“We were able to build a nice community,” Hall said. “And now we’re really looking forward for next summer.”

Beachfront is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Sundays.
