Shoppers have found an affordable moisturiser from Boots that they say “leaves their skin silky smooth” and “younger looking” – and it is now on sale for half-price.
The cosmetics retailer is helping beauty buffs stock up on their anti-ageing skincare with its 50 percent off offer across select Olay products. This includes the Olay Collagen Peptide24 + SPF 30 day cream (50ml), which has one fan saying “forget botox.”
Usually costing £38, this powerful moisturiser – which has been infused with collagen peptides that penetrate 10 layers deep into the skins surface – now just costs £19. It has also been reduced at Superdrug, where it is slightly cheaper at £18.99.
Boasting a near perfect rating on the health and beauty retailer’s website, this collagen-boosting day cream also uses Vitamin B3 to smooth your skins texture and provide intense hydration. There’s also SPF 30, which is ideal for preventing your skin from any further sun damage that can contribute to signs of ageing.
Since Olay skincare products have been a huge staple for many, it is no surprise that the Collagen Peptide Day Cream has amassed a 4.6 rating from beauty buffs who have hailed it as a “miracle” that has them “looking years younger.”
One rave review read: “Forget botox give this a go and you will see results.”
A second praising the cream wrote: “I feel 10 years younger. As soon as I started you use this fantastic face cream I could see the difference.”

Another penned: “The best face cream I’ve ever used. A friend recommended me to buy it. I hesitated for a long time, but I regret not having it earlier. Facial acne disappeared, the face is glowing, soft. My husband says I look 10 years younger. I recommend you try it, you won’t regret it.”
A fourth gushed: “Leaves skin smooth and silky and fresh so younger looking for the day!!”
And another praised: “Face feels firm and revived after a week of using this miracle cream!”
Beauty deal of the week
Boots has just launched another Love Island Beauty Box that will have shoppers saving over £80 on top-rated brands.
The finale of the All Stars season of the hit show is set to come to its hotly anticipated finale next week (Monday, February 19). To mark the occasion, the health and beauty retailer has today launched the brand new Boots X Love Island All Stars Beauty Box.
Available exclusively online, this limited-edition beauty edit has been packed with £132.64 worth of beauty essentials. However, it costs just £45, meaning shoppers are saving themselves an impressive £87.64 on some of the villa’s favourite products.
As the high street cosmetics retailer is the official partner for the ITV show, shoppers are regularly treated to beauty edits that feature some of the contestants best loved products. Last year’s beauty box contained brands from Estee Lauder to Sol de Janeiro.
Included in the latest All Stars Beauty Box are 16 haircare, skincare and beauty must-haves, with five of them being full-sized. Some indulgent brands included are Byoma, CeraVe, The Inkey List and Soap & Glory.
Inside the £45 Boots X Love Island All Stars Beauty Box, shoppers will find a full-size Iconic London Liquid Highlighter that is worth £21 alone. The shade is selected at random and could be either Golden Hour, Sun Kiss, Caramel Glow or Spiced Tan.
There is also a full-size St Tropez Gradual Tan Tinted Lotion, worth £18, for anyone looking to enhance their winter glow, or get summer ready early. Meanwhile, the full-size KVD Beauty Everlasting Hyperlight Transfer-Proof Liquid Lipstick is said to be worth £19.
Meanwhile, shoppers can give their skin a bit of a tropical refresh with the full-size Soap & Glory Magnificoco Body Scrub, worth £9.99. The last full-size product, but certainly not the least, is the Garnier Blends Liquid Conditioner, also worth £9.99, which can help your hair look instantly smoother, shinier and frizz-free.
Shoppers can get over £130 worth of beauty products by purchasing the £45 Boots X Love Island Beauty Box exclusively from the Boots website.
It is worth mentioning that some reviews mention that the cream may not be suitable for all skin types, with one two-star review reading: “It was amazing till I realised that this was the reason why my skin was breaking out. Also my eyes sore a lot cos of the spf or fragrance.”
Boots shoppers can purchase the Olay Collagen Peptide24 Day Cream for £19 instead of £38 here.
With anti-ageing being an important of the skincare routine for many, it can be handy to find any particular products on offer. At the moment, Lookfantastic has slashed the cost of the highly coveted L’Oreal Paris Hyaluronic Acid Revitalift Filler Serum to £21.43.
