Bella Ramsey Describes Them as ‘A Little Bit Wavy’ Instead of ‘100 Percent Straight’

In a recent interview, Bella Ramsey was honest about their sexuality and said that they don’t think of themselves as completely straight.

The 19-year-old actor, who is known for their role in The Last of Us, said that they see themselves as always changing and that their sexual orientation can sometimes feel like it’s changing.

Ramsey talked about coming out as non-binary last year in a piece for Vogue’s Pride issue in July. They also said that they have been looking into dating.

Bella said, “You never fully know who you are, it’s ever-evolving. But I certainly think that people have gathered that I’m not 100 percent straight. I’m a little bit wavy, you know? That’s what I like to say.”

“I’m 19, so figuring that out’s gonna be a part of my life,” she said. “Relationships are so complex anyway, and if you’re in the public eye, everyone having an opinion about them adds an extra layer of difficulty.”

When Bella Ramsey came out as non-binary last year, her parents admitted that they were worried that some people would see it as a trend. They also said that they had fought with the word for a long time before deciding that they were non-binary.

“But it’s a very succinct way to describe to people who I am. Now I’m able to vocalize it more; being called ‘they’ is the most truthful thing for me,” they said.

Bella Ramsey is best known for her role in Game of Thrones as Lyanna, the strong-willed child leader of House Mormont.
