BELOIT — The Beloit City Council approved a new pilot program to integrate mental health professionals into police responses, through a memorandum with Rock County on Monday, Dec. 4.

The Beloit Police Department is launching the new program to collaborate with mental health professionals when responding to mental health and crisis calls for service, they announced on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
