BLOOMINGTON — Ben Folds, a multi-genre performer whose career shares credits with orchestras, indie artists and R&B singers, will play a summer show in Bloomington.
Blues Traveler coming to the Devon
An emailed show announcement from the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts said ticket sales start Friday for Folds’ 7 p.m. Aug 15 show. The concert is part of the Emmy-nominated singer-songwriter’s tour “Paper Airplane Request Tour 2024,” a title that refers to Folds’ invitation to pitch song requests to him by way of paper airplane.
Event organizers said Folds has an enormous musical repertoire that includes his pop albums as Ben Folds Five, plus several solo albums and collaborative tracks.
