SYRACUSE — Syracuse men’s basketball will be without a key player for an unknown amount of time.
The team put out a social media post Wednesday evening saying Benny Williams has been suspended for a violation of team rules. Adding, “He is expected to rejoin the program soon.”
The junior forward averaged 7.2 points and 4.1 rebounds in the 2022-23 season.
Syracuse opens the regular season hosting New Hampshire on Monday, Nov. 6.
