Best greens powders: hand-picked (and tested) by team Cosmopolitan


Bloom’s Greens and Superfoods mix combines over 30 ingredients (including fruit, veg, probiotics) said to help deal with bloating, digestion, and low energy; it also makes a nice addition to your daily routine, as our tester found when she tried out the drink for a whole month.

Giving her expert verdict, Hilton told us there’s a good fibre blend “from chicory root, flaxseed and apple powder”, but noted “if you have FODMAP-sensitive IBS, Bloom’s Greens & Superfoods may cause a flare in symptoms due to the chicory and apple.”

She also praised the fact that Bloom’s ingredients list contains real fruit and veg, not just vitamins and minerals, adding that the blend has three strains of known ‘good’ bacteria (though she says it’s “unknown how many of these bacteria will actually make it to the gut alive”).
