Those who may have been wistful and nostalgic about Tall Stacks were in for a treat this year when it was announced that a new festival would be launching to celebrate our Ohio River roots. River Roots is set to celebrate Cincinnati’s river culture with a festival Oct. 8-12 along the Ohio River. The festivities will include riverboat cruises, roots music, river cuisine and multicultural experiences. Bryce Dessner of The National, jazz musician Kathy Wade and more are all slated to perform at the festival.
