Tina Knowles, the mother of Beyoncé, had her Los Angeles home broken into.
The thieves are said to have taken cash and jewelry worth more than $1 million from her safe at home.
TMZ said that the break-in at the fashion designer’s house was found Wednesday morning when someone from Knowles’ team stopped by the house and said the safe was gone.
When the break-in happened, Tina was out of town.
On Sunday, July 9, 2023, the LAPD revealed to Entertainment Tonight that they took that burglary report for the incident they are still investigating.
Reports say that police are asking Knowles’s neighbors if they know anything about the break-in and are looking at video footage.
Even though it’s unclear where Knowles was at the time, she shared a video from her oldest daughter’s stop in Toronto on her world tour on Sunday.
A few months before the burglary report, police nabbed a man at Knowles’ house for making a scene and breaking things.
In April, it was reported in the news that a man had thrown rocks at Knowles’ mailbox. She did not, however, press charges against the man.
Then, Tina Knowles was pulled from the crowd in May at one of her daughter’s shows in Belgium. This was a close call, but she was able to stay safe.
Paramedics helped Knowles up on stage, where she told them she was fine and apologized to the crowd.
