After only two months of dating, Bill Murray and Kelis are said to have ended their strange relationship.

The Sun says that Kelis, 44, broke up with the Ghostbusters actor, 72, because she realized she had outgrown him.

A person said that the two still love each other very much, but that “things just ran their course.”

They said, “They both have busy schedules and after a whirlwind romance decided to go their separate ways.”

A source close to the couple said that they are not breaking up on a bad note. Instead, they “hope to stay friends” and move on with their lives without each other.

When Murray was seen at one of Kelis’ summer festival shows in June, it was clear that they were dating.

Reports say that when they met by chance, they liked each other right away. Since then, they have been “staying at the same hotel and getting close.”

Their relationship grew stronger after the mother of two’s second husband, Mike Mora, died in March 2022. They were both interested in many of the same things.

A source said at the time, “Whatever brought them together, they are both single and having fun despite the fairly big age gap.”
