Billie Eilish responded to rapper Lil Yachty’s explicit line regarding her bust size in his verse on Drake’s latest tune, Another Late Night, featured on his new album, For All The Dogs, with a controlled answer.
The divisive line, which had previously elicited passionate reactions from many of Billie’s admirers, was extensively circulated on social media.
Billie Eilish, known for hits like Bad Guy and Ocean Eyes, displayed her resilience two weeks after the song’s debut by taking Lil Yachty’s name-dropping in stride.
She displayed this poised reaction when she posted a series of fresh photographs on Instagram last Wednesday, revealing her big new back tattoo.
Among these tweets, Eilish stunned her followers by posting a screenshot of herself listening to Drake and Lil Yachty’s recent musical collaboration on Apple Music, demonstrating her willingness to move past the controversy with poise.
Eilish has been candid about her opinions concerning body image and the public’s perception of women who do not dress according to traditional standards.
In 2019, she stated that she was angry when people “slut-shamed” women who did not dress conservatively. She wore baggy attire during her adolescence and early employment to avoid sexualization and to create a sense of privacy.
Eilish explained her decision at the time, saying, “That’s why I wear big, baggy clothes. Nobody can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath.”
She did, however, indicate a wish to someday accept her physique and make videos in which she could feel desirable.
