A sign at Glastonbury Festival hints that Billy Joel might show up as a special guest during Elton John’s main show on June 25.

This is the last show on Elton John’s goodbye tour, which started in 2018.

David Furnish, who is married to Elton, confirmed that there would be four special guests at the show, but he didn’t say who they were. The poster near the Williams Green part of the festival site says that Billy Joel will make a guest appearance. Billy Joel has been on tour with Elton John before as a co-headliner.

Joel is also set to play in the UK on July 7 at BST Hyde Park, which could mean he is already there.

In an interview with BBC Radio 2, Elton John talked about how excited he was to play at Glastonbury and said that he had never played there before because he prefers smaller crowds.

He said about events, “It’s too many people for me. I don’t like crowds. I have played festivals, and I’ve really enjoyed them. But of course, Glastonbury is the crème de la crème. To be honest with you, it’s the first time I’ve been asked to play it, I haven’t turned it down before. But it’s just come at the right time. I’m a great believer in serendipity and fate, and this is the most wonderful way to sign off in England and Great Britain.”

But he thought Glastonbury was the best event and thought it would be a great way to end his tour of England and Great Britain.
