The Arts Alliance of the White Mountains is bringing the holiday spirit to Show Low with a special Black Friday sales event at the AAWM Gallery, located at 251 Penrod Avenue in Show Low. This one-day-only event, running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, offers a unique opportunity to find that perfect, one-of-a-kind gift for family or friends, with many artists extending holiday discounts. During this event, the AAWM will also have a special offering of collectible handmade and vintage dolls and a pram baby buggy, donated by Sue Sisson, a long-time Show Low resident.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, live music will fill the gallery from 1 to 3 p.m., featuring a line-up of local musicians under the direction of Kerry Lucero, a talented viola and violin player. Kerry will be joined by Theresa Dick on violin and Maria Chadwick on cello, with special performances that include a duet with Kerry and cellist Gavin Hart. There will be singing by Ruby William, a vocalist, and Kaylene Evans on the viola will be playing a duet with Kerry.
