BLACKPINK’s Jennie, who recently began her solo career with her newly founded firm ODD ATELIER, debuted as the first K-pop solo artist on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
The 27-year-old vocalist got recognized for her work with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp on One of the Girls.
According to Billboard, Jennie’s song from the hit HBO show The Idol reached No. 100 on the Hot 100 chart.
Notably, weeks after the K-pop band’s contract renewal with YG Entertainment, the renowned K-pop diva has officially established her own brand, ODD ATELIER.
The singer stated on Instagram that she is about to embark on her solo journey with her new endeavor.
She started off by saying, “This year was filled with many accomplishments, and I’m so thankful for all the love I’ve received.”
“I’m also excited about what’s to come,” Jennie continued, “as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA. Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and of course, BLACKPINK. Thank you.”
Furthermore, the singer shared information on her future solo project, stating, “OA, which stands for ODD ATELIER, is a space that aims to create new things that attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected.”
