‘BLACKPINK’ Jennie Surpasses Jungkook on the Spotify Charts

‘BLACKPINK’ Jennie’s One of the Girls, a duet with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, surpassed BTS’ Jungkook’s record as the most streamed OST on Spotify.

The song made its impact, receiving 200 million views on Spotify as the first single from a K-pop act. The songs did exceptionally well on global music platforms, with streams ranging from 3 to 5 million.

The OST remained in the spotlight for more than 100 days, reaching the top 50 on Spotify. It outperformed Jungkook and Jack Harlow’s 3D, as well as the former’s Standing Next to You.

Despite being released months ago, One of the Girls is still reaching new heights on all streaming platforms. The aforementioned milestone was reached thanks to large streams on the streaming giant.

It became the sixth ‘longest-charting’ song by a K-pop solo artist on the worldwide chart, breaking several other milestones, including NewJean’s fifth-most streamed song by act in 2023.

Jennie just announced the debut of her label, ODD ATELIER, which provides an insight into her individual activities.

She also renewed her contract with YG Entertainment, along with the other group members.
