As a member of the K-pop group Blackpink, Jennie’s solo single “Solo” has gathered 900,000,000 views on YouTube. She now has the longest running streak of any female K-pop performer with the most viewed music video.
On March 21st, the video surpassed one million views on YouTube, making her the first female soloist from the K-pop scene to achieve this feat. In other words, the music video for “Solo” has been out for about four years and four months since it was released in November 2018.
The first Blackpink member to get a solo, Jennie’s song “I Need U” was also the group’s biggest hit. Her bandmate Rosé followed suit with -R-, and then Lisa dropped La Lisa and Money.
Lisa’s solo was the most popular, with the “La Lisa” music video racking up more than 73.6 million views in just 24 hours.
