Blue Ivy Runs the World onstage with Mom Beyoncé During Renaissance Tour

Blue Ivy Carter’s first tour date has passed, so the wait is over.

Blue Ivy, who is 11 years old, got into position with her mom Beyoncé at her Renaissance World Tour show in Paris on May 26. Fans took a video of this and posted it online. Even though this was Blue Ivy’s first time singing with Queen Bey on stage during this tour, she moved like a pro in front of the packed crowd at the Stade de France.

In the videos, Blue Ivy danced perfectly to Beyoncé’s song “My Power” from her 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift while she wore sparkly silver clothes like her mom. Then Blue had her own moment in the spotlight. She strutted down the stage while Beyoncé’s dancers followed behind.

This is just the latest sign that Blue Ivy, the oldest child of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, is on her way to becoming a star. The singer of “Brown Skin Girl” had already won an MTV Video Music Award and a Grammy, making her one of the youngest to win the prestigious award when she was only nine years old.

Two years later, she still amazes everyone who knows her, especially her grandmother, Tina Knowles.

“You can sing, dance, play basketball, play volleyball, paint, draw, sculpt, sew, write poetry, write songs, create, act, play the piano!” Tina wrote, “I could go on and on,” for Blue Ivy’s 11th birthday in January. “Because there’s really nothing that you can’t do. You are funny and beautiful and graceful, Kind, and so smart. I could not ask for a better granddaughter Ms. Blue Ivy Carter!”

Tina also said, “I could not be more blessed, grateful, and completely in love with another human. You truly bring me joy!!”
