Boots are celebrating their 175th anniversary this year by offering its Advantage Card members a massive money-saving deal for one day only.
To thank shoppers for their loyalty over the years, the drugstore has increased their “points system” for card members when they make purchases online.
Customers can now receive 17.5 points for every £1 spent, instead of the existing three points per £1 spent rule – meaning they’ll get nearly six times the usual amount of points earned.

But members will have to be quick as the special offer is only valid today (January 19) and you can only unlock it by spending over £60.
If you are looking to buy Drunk Elephant’s Protini Moisturiser, which retails for £61, you will receive £10.67 worth of points (1,067 points) instead of £1.83 (183 points).
It’s also a good time to consider buying expensive beauty gadgets such as Philips Lumea IPL hair removal device. The tool is already reduced from £449.99 to £329.99, with the special points promotion, card members will get 5,775 points along with the purchase.
That converts to £57.75 of Sterling pound for you to spend.
