Formula One’s return to Las Vegas has attracted a variety of world-famous celebrities, with Brad Pitt and Usain Bolt among those trackside. 

This weekend’s F1 action is one of the most highly-anticipated events the sport has ever seen as drivers race around the famous Strip.

And that has brought many famous faces to the pit lane. 

Hollywood actor Pitt, who has been a regular at races while filming a movie playing an F1 driver, was spotted during qualifying. 

And so was celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey as well as iconic singer Rod Stewart, who were both seen in the Red Bull garage.

Wrexham co-owner and actor Rob McElhenney was also in attendance while model Paris Hilton experienced a simulator.

Former Premier League footballer Jozy Altidore and actor Patrick Dempsey are also in Vegas for the F1.

Star Wars’ John Boyega was in attendance and the fastest man on the planet, Usain Bolt, gave an interview on the side of the track. 

After experiencing a lap himself, Bolt told Sky Sports: “It’s brilliant. The hot lap was wonderful, the speed was great, the G-force was crazy. 

“I think Vegas itself is such a big entertainment city, so to bring Formula One here is wonderful, it’s out of this world to know that it actually happened. It’s beautiful.

“For me, I’m always a Lewis [Hamilton] fan because I know Lewis. Verstappen is doing wonderful, he’s really coming out and showing the world. 

“Hopefully next year, Lewis will get back into it!” 

Bolt wouldn’t have been too pleased with qualifying as Hamilton was eliminated in Q2 and will start the race in 11th place.

It was Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc who took pole for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, finishing ahead of teammate Carlos Sainz. 

And Leclerc will have the privilege of leading the grid down The Strip once those lights go out on race day tomorrow evening.
