Brad Pitt Joins Quentin Tarantino’s Farewell Film, the Movie Critic

Quentin Tarantino has reportedly cast Brad Pitt in his final project, The Movie Critic.

According to Deadline, the actor’s role details are currently unknown; nevertheless, it is possible that he will play the film’s protagonist.

The late New Yorker writer Pauline Kael, one of the most renowned film critics of her time, is said to have inspired the film.

Last May, the 60-year-old director told the publication that the picture was set in 1977 in California and follows a “guy who really lived but was never really famous, and he used to write movie reviews for a porno rag.”

Many puzzle pieces of Quentin’s last film are now missing; however, it is expected to be released in 2025.

Pitt previously collaborated with the director on the film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, for which he received the Best Supporting Actor Oscar in 2020.

He also appeared in Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds in 2009.

The Bullet Train star is now booked and working on an Apple-produced Formula One racing film with Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski.

He is also going to star in an untitled F1 film with Javier Bardem and Damson Idris, as well as an Apple thriller called Wolfs, alongside George Clooney.
