Brad Pitt recently said that he was worried that his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, would take the kids away from him because they were in court.
A person told OK! magazine that Pitt “believes Angelina will stop at nothing to get what she wants — which is to take the children away from him.”
It’s important to note that the ex-couple have five kids together: Maddox, 21; Pax, 18; Zahara, 17; Shiloh, 16; and twins Vivienne and Knox, both 14.
The person said, “He thinks that everything she does is a way for her to get back at him.”
“They can’t resolve things peacefully. This long, drawn-out battle isn’t likely to end anytime soon,” the source said.
The outlet had previously said that Jolie accused Pitt of verbally and physically abusing her and some of their children during a 2016 trip from France to the United States.
At the time, a person close to the family said, “There was some satisfaction on Angelina’s part that the public heard about the level of abuse she and the children were exposed to. She feels it should have had more of an impact on Brad’s reputation. She won’t forgive Brad — and she certainly won’t forget.”
But Pitt denied all of the abuse claims and said they were “completely false.”
While this is going on, the former couple has been in a legal fight since 2016 over things like a French winery selling rights and child custody.
