BREAKFAST Television’s Frank Ferragine has made a sly dig at co-host Steph Henry for taking time off of the show.
The weather reporter appeared next to Steph and fellow host Melissa Duggan on Friday’s episode of Citytv’s morning show.
The BT segment started with an exterior shot of Clover Hill Park with the slow song Airplanes playing. Fans could hear the lyrics: “I could really use a wish right now.”
Melissa introduced viewers: “We have got the Friday feels on BT this morning thanks for joining us.”
Frank interrupted: “It’s not ‘I could really use a wish right now,’ it’s I could really use a trip right now.”
Melissa laughed as the host looked directly at Steph, who sat across the couch.

Steph danced and repeated: “I could really use a trip right now.”
Frank continued: “I could and I’m really jealous of Steph.”
Steph replied: “I’m so excited.”
Melissa asked: “So tomorrow you take off?”

The host nodded: “Taking off tomorrow. St Lucia. Sand, beach.”
The two presenters carried on enquiring Steph about the trip and what she planned to do before they moved on with the show.
Frank presented the weather later in the show and told viewers the city should start warming up next week.
Steph suggested that was due to her tropical vacation.
Frank introduced Steph’s next segment and said: “You are welcome. I’m going to be sending that back from St Lucia.”
Frank slowly replied: “Okay. Thank you.”
Steph continued: “You’re welcome for the double digits and for the no snow.”
Fred sarcastically said: “You’re so gracious.”
SECRET HUSTLE
These comments came after Frank was called out for his secret side business away from the show.
He appeared next to Melissa and Steph on Tuesday’s episode.
The trio talked about Christmas, debating when to put decorations up and whether to stick to a traditional look or experiment with different styles.
After the television hosts spoke about their plans for the holiday, Melissa grilled Frank about his specific expertise.
Melissa said to Frank: “You were saying to me, too, that part of your side hustle is having an idea of what the trends are going to be for the year ahead.”
Weather reporter Frank confirmed: “Well I’m speaking at the season show this weekend at the International Center, and we’re talking about Christmas trends that are coming up.
“Every year there’s lots that’s on trend. This year a big trend is the pink tree.”

After the others seemed shocked, Frank simply explained: “Barbie!”
He concluded: “So pink trees are everywhere, pink decor everywhere. Couple years ago the black and gold was really in. But it really depends on people’s individual decor, and people get crazy over Christmas.”
