BREAKFAST Television presenter Sid Seixeiro is no stranger to expressing his opinions and his latest appearance was no exception.
The news anchor appeared next to Meredith Shaw in his usual studio slot of the daytime TV broadcast of Toronto’s BT on Tuesday morning.

Sid’s segment started with an opening exterior shot of Union Station in Toronto with Christmas music playing in the background.
Meredith gushed: “I sometimes stop at that corner and turn around and look back at that. I think it’s one of the prettiest scapes of the city.”
Sid joked: “As long as you’re not inside dealing with a late train or a subway.”
The camera cut back to the same scenery shot, with the presenters continuing to admire the camera work.

Sid asked producers behind the camera: “Who’s our cameraman this morning?”
He repeated the producer’s answer: “Shout out to Bryan Carey, the Citytv legend giving us this beautiful shot this morning.”
Bryan then put his hand into the side of the camera shot and gave an “ok” symbol with his fingers.
Meredith laughed: “I love that.”

The shot then cuts back to Meredith and Sid in the studio.
Sid said: “Alright Bry. Really? Really?”
He gave a sarcastic look to Meredith: “He charged overtime for that. The rate goes up.”
The producers behind the camera laughed.
THE GIFT OF ASSOCIATION
This interaction followed Monday’s episode, where Sid and Meredith joked about a gift he gave her.
Meredith opened their usual segment by asking Sid how he was after a shocking sports event that happened over the weekend.
Friday evening’s confusion was about baseball star Shohei Ohtani, who people thought was on a flight to sign for the local Blue Jays team.
However, it turns out that the person on the flight was mistaken as it was another person who just looked similar named Robert Herjavec.
Sports analyst Sid admitted: “I don’t know, I don’t know how I’m doing.”
Meredith revealed that she flew to Montreal and back and attended a Christmas party over the weekend.
She revealed: “But I have to say, after that, I went to a Christmas party that night, and everybody there… I love it now that I go to a party, people talk to me about sports.”

Laughing about the strangeness of being a sports expert through association with Sid, Meredith joked: “It’s the greatest mystery and gift you’ve given me.”
Unable to resist a small dig, she added: “And actually, one of the guys who was at the party worked for Herjavec.”
