Britney Spears and Sam Asghari broke up after 14 months of marriage because they had “irreconcilable differences.” The model filed for divorce, and Britney Spears hired a “dream team” of Hollywood lawyers to help her prepare for the split.

Variety says that Spears has hired the best star divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, and that she will continue to work with Mathew Rosengart, a powerful lawyer who is a former federal prosecutor and is known for freeing Spears from her father’s guardianship.

The actor and trainer made a lovely proposal to the Toxic singer, and they got married in June 2022.

Before, they had been dating for more than five years. They met on the set of Spears’ 2016 music video for Slumber Party, a song from her Glory album.

When Spears got engaged to Asghari, she was still under the care of a guardian. But Rosengart worked hard and was successful in getting the court to suspend her father. This was the first step toward the end of the conservatorship, and it put her on track to be free of the formal arrangement soon.

Spears and Asghari got married in a secret ceremony at Spears’ home in Thousand Oaks, California. About 60 people, including Madonna, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, and Paris Hilton, were there. Lynn Spears, Jamie Lynn’s sister, and Lynn Spears, her mother, were not there.

The 29-year-old would-be actress was Spears’ third husband. Even though they are no longer together, Spears and Asghari announced in April 2022, two months before their wedding, that Spears was expecting the couple’s first child. But later, Spears told people that she had lost the baby the next month.
