Britney Spears Hints She Might Appear in Elton John’s Upcoming Show as a Special Guest

Britney Spears seems to have dropped hints that she and Elton John might perform together at the Glastonbury event this weekend. Elton, a 76-year-old music legend, is set to be the main act on the Pyramid Stage on Sunday. His husband, David Furnish, has hinted that four surprise guests might join him.

Britney, who was said to be joining Elton, posted a hint on Instagram that she might attend the Worthy Farm event.

The 41-year-old pop star, who is best known for her song “Baby One More Time,” posted a picture of an apple that looks like it was cut into the St. George’s flag on Thursday. She also put three Union Jack emojis in the post’s text, likely adding to the speculation and rumors.

The artist also shared a picture of a McDonald’s meal with more Union Jack flags on it, which was another hint that they might work together. Britney and Elton had worked together on a song called “Hold Me Closer” in 2022. It was Britney’s first release after her 13-year conservatorship ended.

In an interview last September, Elton said he wanted to “boost Britney’s confidence” and hoped their duo would inspire her to make more music.

He also said, “so happy for her, because it’s got her back to what she’s famous for, being a singer and an artist.”
