Britney Spears Says Meghan Markle Inspired Important Decision

Reports say that Britney Spears will sit down with Oprah Winfrey for a tell-all interview, just like Meghan Markle did in 2021.

The Grammy-winning musician’s book, The Woman in Me, will come out on October 24, and she is also planning a bombshell interview before it comes out.

According to a story in The Sun, TV networks and online streaming services bid “significant financial sums” for the exclusive one-on-one interview with Spears.

But Winfrey was also one of the people who contacted the Hold Me Closer singer’s representatives in 2021, when she was first freed from her conservatorship.

Now, it looks like the 41-year-old singer of “Gimme More” is taking a page out of the Sussexes’ book and wants to tell her side of the story.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the Royal Family in 2020. In a shocking interview with Oprah the following year, they talked about the problems they faced while they were in The Firm.

There were many shocking reveals, which were followed by a Netflix docuseries called Harry & Meghan in 2022 and then Harry’s shocking book, Spare.

Even though Spears may be thinking about it, the insider said that an interview “remains complicated” for the singer, who “continues to find it hard to talk to strangers for a long time about personal parts of her life.”

The source said that “trauma didn’t go away overnight just because the conservatorship ended,” and that some days can be “extremely testing and conversations can trigger her to behave unusually or even erratically.”

So far, there has been no news about whether or not Spears will show up for an interview.
