Britney Spears to Interview for First Time in Years Before Biography Release

It is said that Britney Spears will sit down with Oprah Winfrey for a tell-all chat before her bombshell memoir comes out.

The Woman In Me, the singer’s first album, will come out on October 24.

The US Sun said that sources told them that TV networks and streaming services want Spears to do her first interview since she came back to the press in 2021.

They said that Winfrey herself called out to the pop star and made a crazy offer for her to do an interview.

The source said that the talk show host also tried to talk to Spears after her custody ended in November 2021, but the singer turned him down because she was “still getting used to living on her own and mentally processing her freedom.”

Another insider said that Britney doesn’t like being on TV, which put an end to any thoughts of her doing an interview.

“The [interview] proposal remains complicated for Britney who continues to face challenges speaking to strangers at length about intimate aspects of her life,” a source told the outlet.

“The trauma didn’t go away overnight just because the conservatorship ended,” they said. “Some days can be extremely testing and conversations can trigger her to behave unusually or even erratically.”

The source said that a “proper news-style interview is out of the question,” and that it’s up to Britney to decide if she’s ready to talk on camera and talk about the things in the book.
