Brother of owner of stolen Hyundai fired gun into car with 7 teens inside, DA says


Syracuse, N.Y. — A man who went searching for his sibling’s stolen car Sunday fired a gun at seven teenagers piled into the vehicle, injuring three girls, Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick said today.

Michael Brown, 23, is now being charged with seven counts of second-degree attempted murder, Fitzpatrick said. Brown was also charged with first- and second-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm.
