BTS Answers to J-Hope Special Treatment Claims

The agency for the K-pop group BTS, HYBE, has said something about the rumors that J-Hope is getting special treatment in the service.

On April 18, the artist started his required military service at the 36th Infantry Division recruit training center in the city of Wonju. Soon after, a story from Newsis said that people who were joining the military would be able to get in with only one car and could show their notice of joining to get in.

On the other hand, the story said that six vans from BTS’s agency were seen entering the center, five at once and the last one later.

HYBE wrote back right away, saying, “We are currently in the midst of checking the truth of the report. We will make a statement after checking.”
