BTS Continues to Break Records, with ‘Dynamite’

BTS achieved another milestone with Dynamite, which became the quickest K-pop group video to reach 1.8 billion views on YouTube.

Dynamite, the 2020 smash that reached 1.8 billion views on Friday, became the first Korean boy group music video to clinch the feast.

BTS’s Dynamite, which was released on August 21, 2020, set a high standard.

The seven-member boy band took three years and six months to accomplish this milestone, breaking BLACKPINK’s record of three years and seven months.

Just as the song’s popularity grew, BTS fans, known as the Army, flocked to the comments area of the official video for Dynamite to show their delight.

One admirer praised the Army, saying, “The Army did it again!” Army I am extremely proud of you, the iconic fandom of a classic group. When BTS is in the military, the army allows them to blossom and reach the top of charts while shattering records.”

“This is not a song; it is a masterpiece,” another fan stated.

Furthermore, the fandom hopes to reach two billion views before the BTS reunion following their necessary military duty in 2025.
