BTS Jimin Is the First K-Pop Artist in a Decade to Spend Three Weeks on Billboard Hot 100

Jimin of the K-pop group BTS is the first person in ten years to have a Korean song stay on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for three weeks.

The last solo act to do this was PSY in 2012 and 2013 with the songs Gangnam Style and Gentlemen. Jimin made history earlier this month when he became the first K-pop soloist to top the Hot 100 and Artist 100 lists and the first artist to hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

His song “Like Crazy” is at number 58 on the Hot 100 chart for the week ending April 22. This is his third week on the list. The singer’s first record as a solo artist was Face, which came out on March 24.
