BTS’ Jungkook ‘Makes a Comeback’ During Military Service

Jungkook of BTS made a comeback, dominating the US Billboard charts with his solo album GOLDEN, which reached number 71 on the Billboard 200.

His followers organised a re-comeback celebration on X, formerly known as Twitter. The site is currently buzzing with hashtags and the cries “Jungkook is back” are trending.

Standing Next to You, the album’s title tune, peaked at 94th on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, where it remained for 13 weeks.

Jungkook continued to excel as he appeared on the Global 200 and Global (excluding the United States) lists.

Many of his songs topped the charts, including Seven (feat. Latto) at number 28, Standing Next to You at number 31, and 3D (feat. Jack Harlow) at number 88 on the Global 200.

In terms of the global (excluding the United States), Jungkook’s worldwide popularity helped his songs achieve higher rankings. Seven finished 21st, Standing Next to You 25th, and 3D charted 57th.

Jungkook is now performing an 18-month military duty in South Korea, beginning in December 2023, alongside V, Jimin, and RM.

BTS dominated the music industry with their expanding fan base. Their army did not keep the band out of the spotlight for long, with Jimin’s song topping the charts for an astonishing 45 weeks.
