BTS member V gave his fans a sneak peek into his location after making a brief public appearance at Chucheon station in Gangwon-do on his way to his assigned unit at the ROK Army’s second Division.

Members of the South Korean boy band enlisted as military soldiers in 2023, with V, real name Kim Taehyung, announcing his commitment on December 11.

The musician is preparing to continue his duty as a member of the military police special forces in the ROK Army’s second division.

The 28-year-old South Korean singer had previously applied to the Capital Defence Command Special Mission Division (SDT) and passed both the first and second rounds of document screening and interviews.

After passing the physical fitness tests, V completed his five-week basic training.

He is claimed to have enrolled in the Army’s Comprehensive Administration School, where he will spend an extra three weeks receiving training.

The K-pop group is now on hiatus as its members, including Jung Kook, V, Jimin, and RM, complete South Korea’s mandatory military service.

Jin was the first to enlist in 2022, and J-Hope and Suga followed suit.
