The City of Buellton is rolling out a community art project themed “Up in the Air,” that seeks original art designs contributed by local artists.

The initiative, supported by a city grant, will reportedly add vibrant new banners to city streets in Buellton, and launch an additional outreach program spotlighting local talent.

Artists of all ages and abilities are encouraged to submit original designs by April 1, online at Buellton.Art. No experience is necessary to participate.

Selected designs will be digitized and incorporated into a new collaborative art display with contributions from fellow community members, according to the rules.
