Buffalo, Mo. man killed after being hit by a car near Lebanon


LACLEDE COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) – A man from Buffalo has died after being hit by a car Monday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, 34-year-old Christopher Yardley had walked into the road on U.S. Route 66, eight miles east of Lebanon, around 6 a.m.

As Yardley walked into the road, a Subaru Outback hit him. He was taken by helicopter to a Springfield hospital, where he later died Monday evening.

This marks MSHP Troop I’s 26th fatal crash for 2023.
