Bugatti Unveils New Home Collection at Milan Design Week

During this year’s Milan Design Week, Bugatti Home has introduced a new furniture collection that merges over a century of Bugatti heritage with contemporary design. The unveiling took place in the historic gardens of Palazzo Chiesa, alongside a complementary exhibit at Sahrai Milano.

This year’s collection is displayed in a setting that transitions seamlessly from Bugatti’s latest hyper sports car, the Mistral, to sophisticated home furnishings, embodying the spirit of Ettore Bugatti’s original glasshouse in Molsheim. The designs emphasize craftsmanship, simple elegance and an acute attention to detail — hallmarks of the Bugatti brand.

The 2024 Bugatti Home collection features items made from European open-pore oak, glass and metal, combined with luxurious fabrics like cashmere, wool, silk and leather. The new pieces showcase a blend of natural materials with advanced technological elements, creating a unique interplay of transparency and solidity.

Highlight pieces include the Type_1 modular sofa, loveseat and chaise longue, which reinterpret Bugatti’s distinctive “C-line” in-home decor. The Type_4 dining table and Type_5 chairs continue the automotive inspiration with their sleek, aerodynamic forms and use of materials like carbon fiber and hand-painted aluminum. Additionally, the Type_7 desk stands out for its innovative structure and near-invisible integrated drawers.

Displayed alongside an array of Bugatti’s legendary designs, the furniture collection also finds a parallel showcase at Via Manzoni 38, hosted by Sahrai Milano, a leader in bespoke rug and textile design. This dual exhibit highlights the synergy between the two brands, known for their unparalleled sophistication and innovation.

For those hoping to catch a glimpse of the new collection in person, it is scheduled to be on display from now until April 21.
