TEMPE, Ariz. — Ten Bulldogs have been recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) in the NAIA Men’s and Women’s Tennis National and Regional rankings, the organization announced earlier this month.

National rankings recognized the Top 50 singles players, and the Top 25 doubles teams, while the Regional rankings included the Top 20 singles players, and Top 10 doubles pairings.

Michael Beltran cracked the national rankings for the second year in a row, coming in as the No. 23^rd ranked player in the NAIA. Beltran ranked 50^th in the ITA National rankings last November. He is one of just two KCAC players to receive national recognition.

In addition to Beltran, the doubles teams of Camila Sanchez and Taimi Nashiku as well as the duo of Beltran and Martin Millos also received national honors. Sanchez/Nashiku ranked 16^th in the ITA National rankings, and Millos/Beltran came in at No. 12.

Beltran was also selected as the fifth best player in the ITA Central Region. He is joined in the Central Region rankings by Celien Botlan (13^th), Oscar Brouwer (15^th), and Marcus Nardy (16^th).

On the women’s side, Zeynep Barut came in as the sixth best player in the ITA Central Region, followed by Grace Maxey (8^th), Sanchez (13^th), and Nashiku (19^th).

The Bulldog women also had a pair of doubles teams recognized in the regional rankings with Sanchez/Nashiku ranking third in the Central Region, followed by the pairing of Maxey and Alexa Garcia coming in at No. 6.
