
Iowa women’s basketball star Caitlin Clark became the program’s all-time scoring leader Sunday, dropping 24 points in a win over Northern Iowa. Here’s what you need to know:

- The 2023 Naismith Player of the Year has 2,813 career points, surpassing Megan Gustafson (2,804) as Iowa women’s basketball’s all-time leading scorer.

Backstory
Clark surpassed Gustafson’s record in the third quarter, after scoring her 2,805th point. Luka Garza holds Iowa’s men’s basketball scoring record with 2,306 points.

Clark averaged 27.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 8.6 assists per game last season, shooting 47.3 percent from the field.
