Calico Critters Baby Accessory Recalled After Two Infant Deaths

After the deaths of two toddlers, more than three million infant bottle and pacifier accessories are being recalled.

There is a danger that children could ingest the accessories. The company is aware of three choking occurrences that resulted in two deaths, one in 2015 and one in 2018.

Parents should check to determine if their Calico Critters flocked animal figurines or sets are affected. Contact Epoch Everlasting Play if you own a recalled item, and the company will instruct you on how to submit a photo and item details to receive a replacement. After providing the necessary paperwork, owners will be urged to trash the recalled product.

Accessories costing between $10 and $80 were sold between January 2000 and December 2021 at Walmart, Meijer, Amazon, and other retailers nationwide and online.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission provides online access to the complete list of recalled products and corporate contact information.
