The Music Center and IndieCade—the premier annual celebration of independent games and developers—are inviting all indie game developers and creators to submit games and interactive projects for the digital festival IndieCade Anywhere and Everywhere.
Submissions also will be considered for Night Games 2024, which will be held again outdoors in Downtown L.A. on Jerry Moss Plaza at The Music Center and, for the first time, in Gloria Molina Grand Park across the street from The Music Center. Night Games 2024, to be held in the fall, marks the second year in which L.A.’s performing arts destination and IndieCade are joining forces to host the free ultimate outdoor arcade and gaming playground following its successful in-person return in November 2023.
Game submissions will be judged by a panel of esteemed gaming industry professionals, including The Music Center’s Digital Innovation Initiative Senior Director Kamal Sinclair. Games and interactive projects from across all genres and mediums may be submitted for consideration: digital, tabletop, big and/or physical, performative, installations, alt control, competitive, cooperative, experimental, experiential, hybrids and more. Submissions developed by individuals, small teams, large teams, artists, students, universities and schools, non-profit organizations and beyond are welcomed.
The deadline for submissions is Monday, April 15, 2024, at Noon PT. Late submissions will be accepted until Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Noon PT.
The Music Center and IndieCade welcome innovation of all forms, including works-in-progress to fully completed and/or released works on traditional platforms or on new platforms. Previous submissions to, or inclusion in, other gaming festivals do not prevent eligibility in any way. Works previously submitted to IndieCade may be resubmitted. For complete eligibility rules and/or to enter a game submission, visit indiecade.com/submissions.
