WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Cape Fear Community College is set to host two Career Discovery Nights for prospective students interested in a variety of automotive fields, an announcement from the college states.
The events are scheduled for Tuesday, July 23 and Thursday, July 25, for those interested in pursuing careers in Automotive Systems Technology, Automotive Customizing Technology, Automotive Technology, Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology and Truck Driver Training.
“These events aim to meet local workforce needs by providing valuable information on career paths, salary insights, and in-demand skills within the highlighted fields. Attendees can participate in interactive demonstrations, engage with faculty members and industry professionals, and tour CFCC’s state-of-the-art training facilities,” CFCC states.
Both events will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with the July 23 event being held at CFCC’s Downtown Campus in the F Building, 610 N Front Street. The July 23 event will highlight the Automotive Systems Technology, Automotive Customizing Technology and Automotive Technology programs.
The July 25 event will be held at CFCC’s North Campus in the NF Building, 4500 Blue Clay Road, and highlight the Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology and Truck Driver Training programs.
