JACKSON COUNTY, MI – An Onsted woman was injured Saturday morning when she fell asleep behind the wheel of her car, crashed into a church sign and the vehicle caught fire.

Police and fire crews were called at 4:12 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, to Cornerstone Church located at 201 Constitution Drive in the village of Brooklyn for a reported single-vehicle injury crash, according to the Columbia Township Police Department.
