MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A car caught fire on Interstate 10 in Mobile early Friday evening.

It happened in the eastbound lanes near Broad Street.

Traffic in the area had been heavy earlier in the day due to Memorial Day weekend travel. But traffic was much lighter when the fire happened.

So far, FOX10 has not heard of any injuries resulting from the fire.
