
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) – A Thursday morning car crash resulted in traffic issues at a busy intersection in Rapid City.
A vehicle traveling south on Lacrosse Street struck the traffic pole on the southwest corner of the intersection at Anamosa Street, leaving a large dent in the pole and knocking off the light. The downed traffic light signifies left turns for drivers heading south on Lacrosse.
In a statement from Rapid City Communications Coordinator Darrell Shoemaker, drivers were advised to proceed with caution at the intersection while city crews repaired the traffic light.
No timeline was given for when repairs will be completed.
