Car crashes in Kent after driver shot in hand


KENT, Wash. — A driver said a gunshot wound caused them to crash their car in Kent Monday morning.

At 7:40 a.m., King County Sheriff’s Office deputy received a call from a victim who said they had been shot in the hand, which caused them to crash near the 27700 block of 68th Avenue South.

Deputies arrived and found the victim, who was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No suspects are in custody.
