A car crashed into the side of an apartment building in Sparks Thursday evening.

The Sparks Fire Department is responding to the incident. It happened on El Rancho Drive a bit before 5 p.m.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries according to a release from the City of Sparks.

Greenbrae Drive west of El Rancho Drive is closed.
