BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) — A car crashed into an unoccupied home near the intersection of 6 Points Road and Alexander Road early Saturday morning, causing a house fire.

According to the McLean County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened just after 6 a.m. The driver was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Local firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly.

With the exception of the driver, no other injuries have been reported.

No arrests have been made, but the incident is still being investigated.
