DERBY, Kan. (KWCH) – A woman hit the gas instead of the brakes and her car hit the side of a Derby pet grooming business. It happened Thursday morning at Fuzzie Was He Pet Grooming on South Georgie Avenue.

“It sounded like an explosion. I actually thought a gas line or something had exploded, and somebody else thought it was an earthquake,” said Fuzzie Was He owner Louisa Davila.

The woman driving the car had scratches but was not seriously injured. No pets or people inside the building were hurt.
