Cara Delevingne Is Cast in an Upcoming Biopic Following Her Release from Rehab

Cara Delevingne, an English model and actor who has just come out of rehab will play herself in a movie about her life. She will play Shailene Woodley’s love interest in the movie.

As it shows the life of famous thriller writer Patricia Highsmith, the biopic will move more scarily. Deadline says that Delevingne will play the part of her boyfriend. Notably, the actor says she is bisexual as well.

Thai friendship will be shown in The Murderous Miss Highsmith. It was one of two relationships the author had, and it inspired one of her most famous books, The Talented Mr. Ripley.

Alexandra Pechman will direct her first full-length movie with this one. Woodley will play the main character, who was 74 years old when she died in 1995. The movie will show how the author thought and how her tendency to do cruel things influenced her books.

Noémie Merlant will play the other woman Highsmith dated from the movie Portrait of a Lady on Fire.

Delevingne said earlier that she went to rehab in January and December to get help after some pictures of her went popular on the internet.

“I’ve had interventions of a sort, but I wasn’t ready. That’s the problem, I hadn’t seen a therapist in three years. I just kind of pushed everyone away, which made me realize how much I was in a bad place.”
